The winner was from this week's giveaway was TDK. Kevin mailing your prize tomorrow.
Now to get back to the 2nd trip to Ormond last month, but first heads up on the next 2 weeks. The next 2 weeks will all be Christmas related. technically the 12 days of Christmas starts with Christ's birthday 12/25 (as recognized) as runs through Jan 5th. However, I have other annual posts for the end of the year and the beginning of the year so I'll just be putting this "theme" out hopefully in time to get you folks into the Christmas spirit (if you aren't already). Okay this time really back to the Ormond cards.
I hit Kyle's dollar boxes, 2 for 5, and $5.00 boxes. All discounted of course. The first 3 scans are from the dollar boxes which typically cost me 3 for a buck..
Now moving to the 2 for $5.00 cards. I scan and the last 2 scans are from the $5 box.
That wraps the posts for this week! After the Christmas parade of posts, I'll do a couple of posts to cover the last trip in November (11/30) to Ormond, then close out the year with an annual post.
Have a great weekend.
I remember trying for a long time to get that Donruss Reggie Jackson/Mickey Mantle card before finally getting one.
ReplyDeleteI know I have at least a few of them, but wasn't leaving it in the box. Maybe it'll be one of those copyright variations, lol.
DeleteSome crazy looking cards in there! And thanks for the giveaway!!!!
ReplyDeleteLot of cards there I've never seen before. That swatch design is something else.
ReplyDeleteI was commenting on your blog when you commented here, funny.
DeleteCongratulations to TDK on the win. Those 35th Chrome parallels are busy looking, but I like the looks of them.
ReplyDeleteCongrats TDK!
ReplyDeleteLove the look of some of those patches!
Find memories of the ARod card with the headset. Collector's Choice were favorite sets of mind as a kid.
ReplyDeleteNeed to get over to my LCS and get that 2024 flagship Elly. Have two or three to go in Series 1 and a bunch of Series 2...work just gets in the way!
ReplyDeleteNot sure why... but I always thought the 12 days of Christmas started on the 14th and led up to his birthday. Thanks for clearing that up for me.
ReplyDeleteThat Gil Hodges card is great!
