DODGERS ROUND 2: And the almost daily giveaway!

Now on to some more Dodgers stuff obtained from the collection bought at the Jacksonville March card show. I am going to cram tonight and tomorrow's posts. That will free up Friday so I get going with the rest of the stuff. I still have over 27 posts worth NOT COUNTING THE PC AND PROSPECTING CARDS from the March Jax show already scanned. I still have to scan the PC stuff, also does not count Monday posts either. 

I should have been loading the scans up in the posts these last couple of month's with shows every week. I need to get on track and clear out the folders.

Tonight we have Brooklyn Dodgers Series 1 post cards. There are 3 parts to series 1. (each part has 4 scans with 12 cards totaling 36 cards tonight).

Now part 2 of series 1.

Now part 3 of series 1.

Like I said scan heavy tonight and tomorrow night which will be series 2, 3, and 4 that only total up to the same amount of scans as all 4 parts of series 1.

Last night Jafronius lmk about the booklets I use for the Monday posts being online. Superb news. I didn't know thank you Jerold! More importantly he even researched the missing part to James Oglethorpe. I suppose that is how and why he found the digital issues. Anyway, turns out part 2 does not have the Kingsman on the cover, it had Burl Ives. I do have that one. So next week we will finalize that run.

Back to the Blue boys.

Now if you're a Dodger fan.... We'll start it out slow tonight and pick up the pace as we go.

This 15 card set of Go Dodger Blue has little value to me. Well other than the Lasorda, Baker, Sutton, and Garvey. Those guys are PC guys, the rest well I just loaded the set in TCDB so I guess I will leave them together. 

Still a little short tonight so I'll throw in some brick or brack.

Last one (all Yankees) The 1961 Yankees Postcard sets

 Sets, yes multiple series within this set of postcards. It is a lot of scans (just kidding 12 scans) so let's get this done. Next week is Dodgers week.

Okay, Yankees week is officially over. I'd bet even the Yankee fans are happy about that. :)

No worries if you wanted more either as there are some Yankees yet to come, just not entire posts dedicated to them. Next week Dodgers will dominate.

Okay, I knew that I owned this set already when I seen it inside the binder that I bought. My set is sealed and still in it's little box. I also think that I have another set opened and in with my "to be sorted" PC boxes. But, I wasn't going to make the guy take them out of the binder just to lower the price a wee bit. One of these days I'll get my PC boxes sorted checked, and put into their respective binders. I used to only update them every two years, but I completely blew it off last year. So, now I am way behind. I must do something about that. I'll have my pool table to sort on in a month or so. We'll see.

I know for certain that I have shown some of these off here before on this blog, and while I was in Georgia. I'll have to search my blog to see if it was the whole set. If so I apologize for the duplication.

One quick search and.... yep August 7, 2016 I showed this set, so I guess these are officially dupes (trips really). I did notice that several of the pictures used in this set were used in another Mantle set too that I did in 2018. Again, I apologize for the duplicate post, but hey it has been 7 years..... get it.

The fronts of these actual cards look like the post cards from yesterday's post. But these are regular sized cards, and if you miss those pinstriped postcards no worries (there are more.... lot's more). SHHH!

I am wondering how many of you folks are reading the questions on the card backs.

Maybe this oversized version is more readable, hehe. I suppose that if you're reading the questions you are also reading the answers.
