2011 TOPPS TRIBUTE.

Nice set. I especially like the faint images in the background.

I am aware that the Mel Ott is the GOLD parallel, the base is sitting in my ComC inventory. Because I have already received TWO ComC packages that are waiting to post on I decided to go ahead and scan the Ott with the parallel. Forgive me.

As a Brave fan I can not complain with the last card #100 being Hank.

Next set: 2000 Bowman's Best and another contest!

 While scooping up the 98's I scooped up as many BB's as I could get on the cheap. I was able to complete the 2000 set too.

This set is a 200 card set, however the last 50 are SP's and will not be included here. I will eventually obtain those too, but for now I considered this one done.

I like this gold set (portion of the set) so much better than the 98'.

I especially like the colored section.

RIP Vin Scully

 Dodger fans are saddened today as we lost an icon last night. RIP Mr. Scully

1998 Bowman's Best and another contest.

 Going back a little further with this one. 1998 BB. I contemplating adding Bowman's Best and Topps Finest too to my quest of high end set builds. 

Obviously they won out.  This particular set is ugly to me. Most of the older sets are so much better.

The rules for the contest are the same as noted in yesterday's post.

This set is a 200 card base set.

The silver cards are better looking than the gold ones.
