I did say that I would be posting the "other stuff" from the last trip to Grand Slam tonight, so here they are. But first a moment of silence for the Braves dropping their third series of the season to the Chisox.
Happy to swipe these too. Now, I know for certain (3x over) that I didn't need the Acuna SP, but figuring It was a dollar before I squeezed my discount in....couldn't leave it. The Ohtani SP super sweet for a buck (before discount). The Maddux and Aaron have a short story behind them.
I pulled them out of the wooden box. The Hank was priced at $10.00, and the Maddux at $7.00. I plopped them down with all of the others stuff that day and told Dylan we had to serious talk about these two.
He said, why? I said no way are they booking for any where close to that especially with the stains on the Twinkies.
He looked them up and we settled on $5.00 for the Hank and $3.00 on the Maddux. The Maddux probably should have been a buck, but I had never seen it before and knew I needed it.
I got my Sport Lots box in and tallied them up, now I just need to scan them and enter them in tcdb.
Have a great night!

I spot a Trout.
ReplyDeleteNice pickups. I like that unlicensed Clemens and oddball Maddux
ReplyDeleteThe Nomo relic is nifty ... The Pristine cards are ... odd.
ReplyDeleteVery nice holiday cards. The Pristine cards include allot of star power! Enjoy the hobby all!
ReplyDeleteNot often we see the twinkies cards!
ReplyDeleteThe Nomo nickname relic is really cool. Never seen the Maddux Boy Scout card. Off to check eBay for a copy.
ReplyDeleteThat drawn Milwaukee hat on Aaron is hilarious looking, but for $5 it's a good buy!
