2025 Topps 582 Montgomery....My Braves team set. I had picked up a complete set at fair price (while I was sick the 2nd round). Yes, some of you have some of these sitting in your stacks. I also bought some stuff from blowout cards to rip while I was sick that go around. I will discuss that purchase and the post layout on Monday or Tuesday.
Now for a bitter notice: BBB reached out this afternoon and has determined that they can not force ComC to adjust their "shipping" charges. ComC has now placed a shipping rates tag at the bottom on their main page which explains that regular standard shipping is 5.99 for the first card and each and every additional card is an additional .25. (they also note it will ship within 13 days, HA! That is a joke!

I've never ordered from ComC, and now especially never will. That shipping is outrageous.
ReplyDeleteI have 85 cards, I bought months ago, and it is $26.99 to ship them standard, the eta had I shipped them 4 weeks ago was February.

I haven’t done COMC in a while, but 25 cents a card is outrageous. Won’t be getting stuff from them for a while.
ReplyDeleteMy very last, final, never-again COMC order was originally due to ship about a week before Christmas. It now says Jan. 22.
ReplyDeleteThe 582's are fantastic! Initially the .25 each for shipping doesn't sound that bad. Then when you are faced with it, it adds up very fast. They are even making a profit on the first shipping at $5.95. Thank you for the insight. I don't blame you one bit for your viewpoint on them. Their Customer Service unfortunately lacks in Customer relations and Service provided. Enjoy the time all!
