 Dodgers are having a party on my Braves tonight. 11 run 1st inning, and already another dinger in the 2nd. OUCHY!

Wacky Wednesday: 1980 series 3 (partial)

 Going to put up some of the remakes. In 1979 & 1980 Topps produces 4 series 66 stickers each.

This one is from 1980 series 3. I do not have the complete set, but I do have enough to show you tonight.

 Lost another one today. RIP.

Delayed

 Oh, back on Sept. 3 I placed an order on Sportlots. There were a total of 5 sellers. The largest order ($63.00) was from a seller I buy from all of the time. Always pleased. This go around, that package hadn't showed up after I had received all of the others so I checked mid month. The tracking shows it was delivered on 9/15. Nope, it was not. After my previous experience as you all know I figured I was just out my $63.00. Well, to my surprise it showed up in a 3 Day priority box ship dated 9/8. Problem, it showed up and was actually delivered on Oct. 1st. I am not even going to bother checking to see if they "updated" the tracking # to reflect when it was actually delivered to me. We are talking over 300 cards here, probably closer to 350 of which most were for set builds. I was relieved for sure, and I won't burden you with the set builds, but there were some that were other needs or just wants. I always try to maximize my shipping and with this case it was free shipping.

Finished off the 2017 Independence Day set.

I scooped up these too. My favorite is the Green Linen parallel Nixon.

ComC: The Final Edition

 

Getting the sad news out of the way first. RIP Eddie Van Halen.

This is the last of the nearly yearlong wait to get my ComC order. And just might be the last ComC order period. Obvious reasons that really existed way before Covid.

Way back in the beginning of the year January and February, I started adding some toughies for my Braves team sets. Super stars, Stars, and high numbers.

Yes, I doubled up on the Aaron as I needed 3 in total. Done.

I still need several Aaron's, but I am a heck of a lot closer to having the vintage Braves team sets done. Well...as far as Topps goes.

ComC phase 6

 At least I think it is phase 6. Time to do a big little post.

A nice mix of backs. 

I grabbed these two Braves off of Ebay the other day. I am now down to needing just 4 more Braves.

The two above the above shot give me 9 of the 13 Braves. Getting there.

PINK PINK PINK

 This is my 1 day post (a very long post) showing all of my pink (pinkish) cards. I promise that it will NOT be as long as the Braves record breaking post-season victory yesterday. Wow! A lot of records set for sure. Now let's get to my Breast Cancer Awareness tribute. There will be baseball, basketball, and let's just call it non sports.

Oops.

Now for the non sport pink "cards".

I could have scanned the entire deck, but really only the face cards were needed.
