Tomorrow hits "2" from the Holiday Binder. Easter and April Fool's Day.
Easter will go first as it should. I will do the Fool's Day cards tomorrow. For you first timers to this theme, for Easter the day is different from one year to another so I simply show cards that have a crucifix being worn somehow by the player.
I haven't "updated" this binder in quite a while so eventually there should be double the guys.
The original cards I put in here, I cropped out to individuals as you'll see below.
Have a fantastic Easter Sunday. Seriously, I mean that.....no foolin.
A blog about the cards I get awesome deals on, cards that I have available to trade, trades and our hobby in general. I collect Braves cards (all of them) and T206 White Borders.

Vintage Braves
One of my OCT (oldcardtraders) buddies (JIM) sent me some vintage Braves.
1953 Bowman of Jack Daniels. I'm going to have to put another list for Gavin together soon (providing he's up for the challenge).
A few from 1954 Bowman.
Lastly, 1956 Topps. The great news is, Jim got the package of Sportcasters I sent him (165) and crapped his pants, said he would be sending me a bunch more. Yipee!
Have a great night all!

Whitey Ford
Just a one card post. I mentioned last week I picked up 2 boxes of GQ at the same time as the 4 boxes of Donruss. So, here is one card that paid (sort of) for the pricier box.
Who would have thought.
Have a great night!

WAR, still at it
This time it is the 60 card boxes, no packs this time.
Box 1 DK's
Box 2 DK's
4 vs. 2 Normally I would say hands down box 1, but both of the #2 box guys are PC guys, and box 1 only had 1 PC guy. I call it a draw.
Next up will show the "high #s"
Box 1:
8 PC guys:
Box 2:
6 PC guys, and then there's the Chicken. Going with Box 1
Now the Green parallels.
Box 1:
Nice cards, considering the green border sucks.
Box 2:
Going with Box 1 again.
Now the inserts, variations, SPs, or at least I thought as I hadn't researched the product when I opened these. Donruss decided to turn upside down all special cards, GQ did the same thing this year too.
Box 1:
2 rated rookies, 6 PC guys, 4 Variations, and 1 Parallel.
Box 2:
part 1.
Box 2 whens this one, but that not enough losses 2/1/1. Now you guys can decide 56 or 60 card boxes. I will say this, lots of variations in both boxes.
Have a great night!

Good Cards Removed from the List
Good Cards Removed from the List. These would be cards from Jim of GCRL fame. Jim hit up with some return fire.
These nine cards were all needs and thus removed from the want list.
This is the card back from the TSC Super Team in the middle up above.
These 4 also hit the list. Jim, thanks for knocking off a Bakers dozen Braves needs for me.

WAR
The season hasn't started yet, and I've already done something I said I wouldn't do this year. I bought some boxes of cards from Walmart. Yep, bad bad bad boy I am. I picked up 4 boxes of 2018 Donruss two 56 card boxes and two 60 card boxes. I also grabbed a blaster of GQ and a retail box.
This WAR which will end at the end of month will be two separate battles of the Donruss boxes. Then you can decide which style box was better to determine the overall winner.
First up will be the 56 count boxes. I really do wish they made the boxes the size of what is inside, but you know they are thinking something that small nobody will pay what we want.
Apparently, if you send 24 of these wrappers to Panini you get a special 3 card pack.
The 56ers were 8 card packs whereas the 60 count boxes were not. Before we begin, I must say that Variations are amuck this year across all brands, but these Donruss are easily had. The best way to battle the 56ers were pack by pack, so here we go.
Box 1 pack 1
Each box had a "special exclusive pack" included. Each of these held 4 Indigo (blue) parallels, and 4 crystal parallels.
Box 2 pack 1
Yes, you see that duplicate. This scared me at first, but it actually wound up being 1 of maybe 3 doubles in all of the Donruss. I give this battle to box 1 because it has 5 PC guys vs. 3 in box 2.
Box 1 pack 2
Tough to beat 3 Braves in a pack and another PC guy, but we'll see.
But, 3 Braves HOFers on a pair of cards with a Judge insert, a Trout variation and all but 1 card are PC guys.
Box 2 takes this one
SCORE 1:1
Box 1 pack 3
6 PC guys, the Mathews Variation and a DK, (which I already ordered 2 complete DK sets).
Box 2 pack 3:
The Betts variation, Gwynn and Harper are not enough to take this one down.
SCORE:2:1
Box 1 pack 4:
Liking this pack. A pair of Ryan's, a Brave, DK 6 cards that would go into the PC (if I weren't building the set).
Okay, combine the pair of Judge's (Variation and DK) with Killer and Posey and 5 PC cards it is close, but no go.
SCORE 3:1
Box 1 pack 5:
6 PC guys and a Rated Rookie (tough pulls).
Box 2 pack 5:
A relic card, 4 PC guys and a DK.
It was close, but box 2 takes it.
SCORE 3:2
Box 1 pack 6:
A Brave, and DK, 4 PC cards, and a Posey Variation.
Box 2 pack 6:
A Variation, a Judge, only 3 PC cards.
SCORE 4:2 which means this last pack is mute for me Box 1 wins the battle.
Box 1 pack 7:
A parallel, 6 PC cards, Thomas variation, another good pack.
Box 2 pack 7:
5 PC cards, a DK, and just ain't quite good enough.
Final SCORE 5:2
