Shadow Shots

Another weekends worth of Shadows. I haven't posted in a couple of days, sorry about that. Family came down for a few days.

I could just say great shadow, but I see a TMNT with a bat in his hands.

That is a great shadow!

A fancy script lett A (sideways of course).

Do you remember those little green army men that came 100 in a bag from back in the day. I see one of those guys.....maybe one that laying in the prone position with his rifle. Or better yet, crawling with his weapon slung across the forearms.

Are you ready for another round of ANS 6?

CAN'T SAY THAT I'VE EVER SEEN THESE.

Sure I fed this stuff to my youngins.

My favorite laundry detergent.

The only way I'll eat fish is Gortons or Mrs. Paul.

I've never bought these, but I'm pretty sure my step-dad did once.

 yep.

Yep.

and yep.

next week finished up with series 6.  Ready for 7.

TRADE POST

I got two trades in the mailbox today.

The first one was a PWE from Steve over at COLLATING CARDS.

Sometimes, when you are a team collector, you have to collect guys you can't stand. DJ is one of those guys for me. My least favorite Brave of all time. hey that would make a cool bat/blog around....
Who is your least favorite "team" player? And why?

Now here are 2 of my favorites. Thanks Steve, hope your Post cards made it today as well.

Next up has to be the largest padded/bubble mailer I've ever received.

This batch came from Brian over at HSCA.  Brian hit my vintage Braves team needs (and I didn't even know I needed it, thanks.

Brian hit my Cup binder too.

Brian sent along a few Braves too. I haven't checked them against my lists yet, so I scanned some up I wasn't sure about.

I know I ordered the GQ from JC, just don't remember if they are waiting on me in Ocala or in my cart. Rest assured I'll check that here shortly. I know I didn't have/order that Dansby insert, SWEET!

Some horizontal needs I'm sure.

A pair of variations. Or what used to be class differences.

Brian even remembered I have a Coca-Cola binder, which I will have to wait til I get back home to check to see if this were needs.

Brian even sent cards for my Elway Super Collection. Pretty sure I have the top two, but not positive about the bottom two.

And to end this post will be my favorite of the batch.

A Smoltzy auto.

Thanks Steve and Brian.

Easter Sunday

Time for the annual Easter Day cards whereas the athletes featured are sporting a crucifix somewhere.

Just like my other "Holiday" binders I have a ton more sitting in stacks that need to be added to this folder.

Some could be a necklace, earring, or anything else.

I hope everyone's day was great!

The card show

Moving on up to the east side, now y'all have that tune stuck in your heads, ha!

I mentioned the day before yesterday I bought a few buck cards and made 4 single card purchases.

This was one of the single cards.

These both were. I needed the Smith for the Set build, now I need one for the PC. I had Winfield in the set build, but needed him for the PC and now I have it.

This is the 4th single I picked up for the Braves team build, need two more now.

This was one of the buck cards. i didn't know I needed it for the Braves team sets, but I no longer have to worry about that.

Not so much baseball????

Okay so the Braves are 1-5, that's what is great at the beginning of a season right? After all, they are only 2 games back.

Anyways, time to show some cards, just not so much baseball cards. Although I did bring home 7500 baseball cards from the same card show on 4/8.

Vintage Robin Hood.

Some sweet 1966 Tarzan, my birth year.

Grabbed up 37 of these 1980 TCMA. See I said not so much baseball. Out of the 7500 cards take away these TCMA's and 5 or 6 dollar cards, and the rest were 2 bulk lots, one 3200 count box from one dealer and the rest from another except for 4 single card pick ups.

1964 Beatles, color.

Love the expressions on both of these cards.

Movie.

And a flashback to my childhood days.

I grabbed up a bunch of these 2002 Post cards in that bulk buy. I didn't quite make a complete set, but I'm close and have lots of dupes.

I grabbed 29 of this 44 card set.

Apparently, the last several cards in the set are just famous people, LOL.

I will highlight the 4 singles and a couple of extras on Thursday, see ya.
