Silly Saturday.

Just a few cards I find interesting for one reason or another.

Junk wax era cards are an awesome source for wacky cards, like the Chicken above.

If Boggs dropped to one knee, he'd only need a little blue box.

Obviously a take out play, but he he broke up the double play.

This one is wacky for a number of reasons..... Pitcher stretching and playing catch with a pretend batter, but that shadow stands out quite a bit.

Earrings.

Needs no words.

Doc playing catcher.

Perfect.

Have a great weekend.

  1. Boggs and Fielder are by far two of the greatest cards of the '90s.

  2. I was looking at that card of Sierra and thought, "This would be a great card for a caption contest." Then I read your, "Needs no words" comment. Anyways, made me literally LOL.
There's some great cardboard in this post. I own a copy of the Fielder and it's definitely one of the "funner" cards in my collection.

  5. I'd love to ask a Topps rep (who still works for them) what they were thinking with that Sierra card. It's so weird. And how have I never seen this card all these years later?

  6. Glad you could use the 93 Fleer. And I love that checklist card.
