The Lincoln Files

What are the Lincoln files you ask? Well, from time to time I run across a really good deal. Sometimes it is a single card, sometimes it's a lot of singles, and sometimes it even includes sets.
So I decided to make note of the $5.00 (Lincoln) or less deals that I run across. starting with these that just came in on Thursday.

First up is the proof of total paid (sometime this won't be possible).

$4.98 free shipping, but what did it buy?

 2 items: 1986 & 1988 Fleer mini complete sets.
Now you see the total paid, the seller was so awesome, why? He sent them in a flat rate priority envelope. Already losing money.....

But, that is not the only reason this seller was awesome. There are 20 scans below, but notice the brand spanking new 12 pocket mini card pages that he put the cards in. Losing more money.  WOW! I didn't even have any of these pages.   Cool, now I want them for all of my mini cards.
Now below each scan will be a count of the cards that I WANT/NEED extras of because they will be needed for another binder.  SO PAY ATTENTION, send me some, LOL. I will also keep tally of the count from the 86 vs 88 set. Just for poops & gargles. I already know which set has more I that want dupes of. I will not be breaking these sets up to get the ones I need this time...

1986 total of dupes needed.....40, wow! Maybe I should just try to steal another one of these.

Now let's look at the 1988s.

A thank you

Last week I popped by my house and found a surprise in the mail box. What was it???? Well we all know that it was those little pieces of cardboard that make us smile. That is exactly what I did as I opened up these goodies from fellow blogger Daniel Wilson (it's like having my own card shop). Dan the man sent along many Braves, among them were these binder hits.

2005 Diamond Kings red frame.

Hmmm.... Why am I showing both sides of this card?  Especially, when I have two copies already.
Well, that is an easy one. 1: Superman binder 2: tee shirt, and lastly 3: cross earring for the Easter mini collection (one of those not mentioned in the rate these post). I needed a third copy of DAvis and now I have one.

Some refractor goodies.

 Insert goodies.

I used to have all of these except for the redemption ones. I had the Maddux still, now I have the rest of the Braves.......again.

A short numbered (#d/46) Leaf Exhibits. Just my second card from this huge, huge NEED list.

Yepper, that's a Goudey Graph!

Now Daniel thought this Arod was hitting my doughnuts binder, but I don't count those bat weights as a doughnut. No problem, it was needed in my Arod binder. Funny thing is I dislike Arod, but still collect his cards. Go figure.

More inserts.  Thank you much Daniel. Glad you liked the D'backs.

What's next?  My next post will be my 250th and I have something planned that I hope you guys and gals like.

Oh Goodies!

Recently the blogosphere has been commending reader Mark Hoyle with his willingness to share. I too received these oversized gifts from Mark.

1986 Donruss fold out pop-up.

Okay Mark did throw in a couple of regular cards too.  Thanks Mark!

Fellow blogger Nick (dimeboxes) was kind enough to send along some cards too.

I don't know what this one is yet, any help would be great. It is vintage Topps, that I know.

2010 HTA,

Is that some knid of "Wonderful" or what?

I need another one of the Davey Johnson for my daughters birthday binder.

Love that Denny card. I need two more of the Glavine too.

I can't believe Nick sent me a Hoyt!

Could use another one of those Smoltz cards.

Yeah closed out the base 2014 Bowman, now to finish the orange, and.........

Later Gators!
